Antique Trotman Anchor 9' Long
Salvaged from an unidentified shipwreck
Measures 9 feet long, stock is 8 feet
Weighs 1000 pounds
There are a lot of old anchors out there, but very few people have one like this!
Trotmans were made from the late 1840's to the late 1880's.
Engineered in England, with a pivoting crown, they forever changed the process of designing anchors. This one paid its dues at the bottom of the Atlantic and is now ready to share its history in front of your yacht club, restaurant, dock bar or in a private collection.
Made from steel, it has been out of the water a long time and is ROCK solid!
It was cleaned and painted with 2 coats of Por 15, and 2 coats of UV resistant paint.
It's a real head turner.
