This self-propelled suction hopper dredger was built 2008 for unlimited navigation, with GT 6,044 t and NT 1,813 t. The vessel has LOA 113 m, LBP 106.4 m, B 18.8 m, D 8.1 m, T (loaded) 6.0 m, and T (light) 3.5 m, with Disp (loaded) 12,500 t and LWT 4,770 t. Total power plant is 12,330 kW and provides transit speed of 11.7 kn and 2.5 kn working speed with 20 days endurance and complement of 28 POB (30 berths).
Propulsion is provided by 2 × Daihatsu 8DKM-28(L) main engines rated 2,500 kW × 2 @ 750 rpm, with SFOC 203 g/kWh, driving Ka-type No.19A ducted FP, 4-blade, 2 units (LH/RH) via reduction gearboxes with clutches. Maneuvering is supported by BT 1 × KT-55B1, 440 kW, 68 kN thrust, Ø 1,300 mm @ 448 rpm, and a twin-rudder steering system rated 200 kN·m at 15.3 MPa.
The dredging system comprises hopper cap 5,000 m³, payload 7,000 t, max dredging depth 26 m, and shore discharge dist 1,500 m through Ø 900 mm suction and Ø 800 mm discharge pipelines. Dredge pumping is by 2 × single-volute centrifugal pumps (VOSTA LMG VL 900-2300) with Q 13,000 / 11,000 m³/h, H 4 / 8 bar, P 1,900 kW × 2, imp Ø 2,300 mm, driven by 2 × Daihatsu 6DKM-28(L) with SFOC 197 g/kWh and ABB TPS61E01 turbochargers.
Electrical power is supplied by 3 × Daihatsu 6DC-17 gensets, 550 kW @ 1,000 rpm, 400 V / 50 Hz, with EG 150 kVA @ 1,500 rpm. Auxiliary systems include 2 × HP jet water pumps (Cummins KTA38-D(M)), Q 3,100 m³/h, H 75 m, deck cranes 11 t @ 18 m and 15 t @ 16 m (2 units), anchors 3 × Spek 3,540 kg, OWS 15 ppm, 2 m³/h, STP 30 pers, 2.24 m³/d, 3 × air compressors 31.5 m³/h, and a refrigeration system with BOCK FX2 compressors using R404A.
