Description

This 2005-built Norwegian DP-2 PSV (VS 4420 design) has a LOA 92.4 m, B 22 m, D 8.6 m, and draft 7.1 m, with a DWT 6,610 mt, GRT 4,978 gt, and NRT 1,493 nt. Propulsion is provided by a diesel-electric plant 13,000 bhp driving 2 azipull Z-drives and 3 bow thrusters with a total thrust of 46.8 mt. The vessel has a clear deck area 1,200 m² with a strength of 10 t/m², supporting a deck cargo 4,700 t. Tank capacities include fuel oil 1,080 m³, FW 220 m³, drill/ballast water 2,980 m³, bulk 430 m³, liquid mud 640 m³, base oil 230 m³, brine 650 m³, and methanol 210 m³. Deck equipment comprises 2 cranes 3 t @ 13 m, 2 capstans 10 t, and 2 tugger winches 15 t. The vessel is in class and fully operational, currently located in the UK (Europe), and is in full class. She could house a 250 t crane if required, or easily a 150 t crane which is the typical requirement for qualified parties. While accommodation is presently 22 POB, it can be increased to 100–120 POB via TLQs, reducing the deck area from 1,200 m² to approx. 1,000 m². – great conversion candidate for MPSV
